Wingz Sleeves

Innovative clothing company Wingsz Fashion was recently brought to my attention, so I thought I'd write a blog post reviewing one of their items.

Wingz are essentially attachable sleeves which can be added to various pieces of clothing. They are worn under your top or dress and sit comfortably and securely under your bra line. They can be great for those who don't like having their arms on show (which has been the case for me during certain periods of my life), and enables people to cover up in a stylish way. More generally, Wingz are simply a great way for anyone to create a whole new look out of existing Clothing items.

You can buy Wingz in many different styles and colours, including varieties such as half-sleeved, chiffon, flared and standard full-length cotton, plus many more. You can check out their online store here!

I personally opted for the full-sleeved, black lace Wingz, as for a while I've admired dresses with long lace sleeves on other people, but had never managed to find any dresses that feature such sleeves that actually suited me. But these now enable me to add this element to my own dresses that I already have and love.

I also find these black, lace sleeves very versatile as they can both dress up an outfit and - as I'm someone who is into slightly alternative fashion - can make for a more grungy look if, for example, placed under a t shirt.

I definitely think Wingz are a great idea and are a handy item to have in the wardrobe.

Let me know what you think!

  1. When I saw the pic of you with the sleeves on FB without seeing the sleeveless, I had no idea they were add on sleeves! They suit the dress so much better! They're really lovely and really cool and really handy - can change an outfit completely without the (too much) extra expense! Nice. I'm definitely going to look these up.

  2. I've heard a lot about Wingz in passing but have never actually see them in action. The black lace sleeves look really nice and work so well with your dress I genuinely wouldn't have guessed the dress didn't come with long sleeves.
